Job Description
CVR is seeking Janitorial Porters to provide cleaning and maintenance services at contract locations in Little Silver, NJ. These are permanent part-time positions essential to fulfilling existing service contracts.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning of offices, restrooms, and other work/recreational spaces
- Empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, sweep and mop floors
- Restock paper and soap supplies as needed
- Follow supervisor’s instructions and complete duties according to a written checklist
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at assigned locations
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work sites
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, bending, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of janitorial or custodial experience (preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate)
