Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Work to build a strong companionship relationship with clients and getting to know them well. Bring your cheerful personality to our clients!
- Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Support clients with mobility challenges, including the use of Hoyer lifts and sit to stand equipment.
Shift Information
- Shifts are generally between 3-6 hours long.
- Morning, afternoons and early evening hours.
- Hours are available all days of the week.
- Some staff choose to work more than one shift a day or stick with one shift. We can occomodate what you are looking for in shift times/hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living environments is required.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Ability to perform lifting of approximately 30+ lbs
- Excellent attendance is required.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in their daily lives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in nursing or social work is beneficial.
- Experience with Dementia and Autism.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
