Duties
- Assist veterinarians during examinations using veterinary terminology and medical equipment.
- Perform animal restraint and handling with confidence, ensuring safety for both animals and staff.
- Conduct laboratory work including blood draws.
- Maintain detailed records of patient care, medication administration, and diagnostic results using veterinary software.
- Educate pet owners on pet care, medication protocols.
Experience
- Prior experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated veterinary technician experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.
- Hands-on experience with pets is a plus.
- Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics.
- Experience handling dogs and other animals in various restraint situations;experience is a bonus.
- Proficiency in veterinary anesthesia techniques including general anesthesia and monitoring is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are essential.
