Duties
- Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, color application based on color theory, extensions, and straight razor shaves.
- Perform professional nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, and nail art with attention to sanitation standards.
- Deliver flawless makeup applications for everyday wear or special occasions, utilizing current trends and techniques.
- Assist clients with hair threading, eyelash extensions, and other specialized beauty services to enhance their natural beauty.
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace adhering to all health regulations and safety protocols.
- Offer personalized consultations to recommend products and services that meet individual client needs while upselling retail items effectively.
- Mentor junior team members in technical skills such as hair coloring techniques, retail math for sales optimization, and store management practices.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure in Cosmetology or Barbering with proof of certification for specific services (e.g., eyelash extensions, nail care).
- Proven experience in hair styling including advanced techniques like hair extensions and color theory application.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and salon safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals.
- Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or equivalent systems.
- Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques while providing outstanding customer service.
- Experience in front desk operations or administrative duties is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.05 - $30.17 per hour
