Preschool Teacher – Wonderland Private School
Wonderland Private School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher for 3-4 year old students to nurture, educate, and inspire our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will use a variety of engaging teaching methods—including creative play, artistic expression, and storytelling—to help students explore the world around them, build foundational academic skills, and develop essential life skills that prepare them for future success.
We are looking for someone with patience, compassion, and energy to guide a diverse group of young students, each with unique needs, abilities, and personalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach students fundamental concepts such as colors, letters, numbers, and shapes.
- Foster social development, self-confidence, and positive interactions among students.
- Create engaging learning experiences through arts and crafts, storytelling, and structured play.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood development.
- Maintain classroom structure, order, and discipline in a caring and supportive manner.
- Supervise students during both classroom activities and playground/free time.
- Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and organized.
- Prepare lessons and materials in advance to facilitate effective instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share developmental progress and address individual needs.
- Complete written progress reports for each child to support ongoing development.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, required.
- 1–2 years of classroom experience working with young children.
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with children at their level.
- Patient, compassionate, and energetic personality.
- Ability to foster a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment.
- Creative approach to lesson planning and classroom activities.
- Strong organizational skills and basic proficiency in Google Suite.
- Commitment to serving as a positive role model for young learners.
