Cole Roofing is seeking qualified and motivated individuals for the full-time position of roof applicator/mechanic. The primary objective of this position is efficiently installing and construct all aspects of a commercial roofing job. This is not just a job, it’s a lifelong trade for us. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Being proficient in all types of roofing systems, including flash, single-ply or built-up
- Experience installing tapered insulation layouts.
- Operate power equipment including stone carts, roof cutters and gravelers.
- Set up layouts and strike lines.
- Safely and efficiently operate tools and machines.
- Help to train less experienced employees to become more proficient in roofing work, and occasionally manage a helper.
- Work in a wide variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
- Climbing ladders, able to lift at least 50 pounds, comfortable with heights.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years commercial roofing experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Interests in job planning and performance measurement of daily job goals.
- Be on time as required by jobs, clients, and our management team.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred, but not required, experience:
- High school education or higher.
- Experience in reading blueprints.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
