Medical Assistant– Full Time for Immediate Hire
Job Description
Medical Assistant responsibilities include, but not limited to:
**must be willing to travel to multiple locations: Shirley, Oakdale, Centereach, Lake Ronkokoma, East Morches, Patchogue**
- Patient Intake (vitals, enter medications, pertinent history in EMR)
- Phlebotomy
- Assisting Physicians and Nuclear Medicine Technologist with cardiac stress tests after satisfactory completion of training program and supervised experience
- Enroll patients, Hook up and download various Cardiac Monitor studies such as Holter, Mobile Cardiac Telemetry
- Enroll patients for remote blood pressure monitoring, trouble shoot devices as needed
- Enter patient initiated call data on patients enrolled in Telehealth in the EMR
- Perform ECG, Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) Studies
- Download and attach remote device reports and attach to E-clinical works (EMR) software
- Medical Assistant Diploma with 5 year experience in Cardiology
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with the team
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving techniques and ability to work independently
- Great computer and interpersonal skills and positive demeanor
- Monday - Thursday (East Moriches location) ; Friday (coverage at different Suffolk county site)
Salary: commensurate with experience and skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
