Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable Group Leaders to join our after-school program. Group Leaders will work directly with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade and help create a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can learn, socialize, and have fun after the school day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage students in grades K–5.
- Assist students with homework and provide academic support.
- Lead and participate in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) activities.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate recreational, enrichment, arts & crafts, and group activities.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and structured environment for all students.
- Build positive relationships with students and encourage teamwork, respect, and positive behavior.
- Assist with transitions, snack, dismissal, and daily routines.
- Take attendance and help maintain accurate student records when needed.
- Communicate appropriately with program staff regarding student needs or concerns.
- Follow all program, school, and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom and activity space.
- Perform other duties related to the successful operation of the after-school program.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Previous experience in an after school, childcare, education, recreation, or youth program is a plus.
- Must be dependable, patient, energetic, and able to work well with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage and supervise a group of elementary school students.
- Must be able to work Monday–Friday from 2:00 PM–5:30 PM.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
