MDS Clinical Reimbursement Director Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective financial strategies to optimize reimbursement and maximize revenue
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate and compliant MDS assessments, care plans, and reimbursement documentation
Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize billing and coding processes
Develop and maintain strong relationships with payors, insurance companies, and government agencies to ensure optimal reimbursement rates and payment terms
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to reimbursement and billing
Lead and mentor a team of reimbursement professionals, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality performance
Participate in strategic planning and budgeting efforts to drive business growth and profitability
MDS Clinical Reimbursement Director Requirements:
Current RN License in the State of Pennsylvania
Prior experience in reimbursement, MDS, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
Strong knowledge of MDS, ICD-10, and CPT codes, as well as Medicare and Medicaid regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service
