Motorworks Brewing is home to Florida’s largest beer garden, a high-energy, community-driven destination where craft beer, live music, and exceptional hospitality come together. We’re looking for a Front of House Manager to lead our taproom and beer garden operations and deliver an outstanding guest experience from open to close.
This role is responsible for everything guest-facing—from bar operations and staff leadership to maintaining the atmosphere that makes Motorworks a go-to destination.
Position Overview
The Front of House Manager oversees all daily taproom and beer garden operations, ensuring smooth service, strong team performance, and a consistently exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Weekdays, nights, and weekends are required based on business needs and events.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
- Oversee all front-of-house operations including bar service, taproom, and beer garden
- Ensure efficient, high-quality service during all hours of operation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
- Manage opening and closing procedures
Staff Leadership
- Hire, train, and manage front-of-house team members (bartenders, barbacks, support staff)
- Lead by example and maintain a positive, high-performance culture
- Create and manage staff schedules based on business demand
- Coach and develop team members to improve service and efficiency
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives excellent service and a memorable experience
- Handle guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery professionally
- Maintain the overall vibe and energy of the taproom and beer garden
Bar & Inventory Management
- Oversee beer, wine, and beverage service
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering as needed
- Ensure proper handling of products and adherence to quality standards
Events & Coordination
- Work closely with the events team to execute private events and large parties
- Ensure smooth service during live music, special events, and high-volume weekends
Systems & Compliance
- Utilize Toast POS for daily operations (experience preferred)
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Maintain accurate reporting and communication with ownership/management
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a bar, brewery, or hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Experience with Toast POS and Microsoft Office is a plus
- Passion for hospitality, craft beer, and creating great guest experiences
