Origin Coffee Co is seeking a full or part time Cook/Baker to join our team. Previous basic cooking experience is required but you do not need to be a professional baker to succeed in this position. If you are reliable and have a positive attitude, good customer service skills, work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team we welcome you to apply. Shifts generally run from 6am-Noon, 5 days per week. You would be solely responsible for preparing baked goods and opening the kitchen every shift so reliability and self-motivation are key attributes. Responsibilities:
-Prepare/bake baked goods
-Set up the line for the days service
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly as necessary, according to recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food industry setting
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with knife skills and kitchen tools
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
