Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Bartender to elevate our beverage service and create memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the bartending team to ensure efficient, friendly, and professional service at all times
- Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices during serving and preparation
- Train team members on beverage preparation techniques, customer service excellence, and POS operation
- Monitor alcohol service to promote responsible consumption while maintaining a lively atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments or upscale hospitality environments with a strong background in bartending
- Extensive knowledge of wine varieties, craft beers, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques
- Prior experience managing bar operations or leading a team within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, alcohol regulations, catering practices, and banquet service procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory control
