Lead Cook – Pizza Kitchen

- Wednesday–Sunday
- Typical hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Schedule may change based on staffing needs, so flexibility is required.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Lead Cook to oversee our pizza station and help lead the kitchen during evening service. This position is responsible for running the pizza line, maintaining kitchen organization, and ensuring a smooth close every night.
The ideal candidate has solid line cooking experience, takes pride in their work, communicates well with the team, and can be counted on to show up ready to work every shift.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pizza station during service.
- Oversee kitchen operations during the evening shift.
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail.
- Complete nightly kitchen breakdown and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
- Create prep lists for the following day’s production.
- Assist with ordering and inventory as needed.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper handling of all products.
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of restaurant line cooking experience required.
- Proven reliability and strong attendance are essential.
- Responsible, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Takes pride in keeping both the food and the kitchen clean and organized.
- Willing to learn, work hard, and continue developing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience making pizza.
- Experience hand-stretching pizzas, especially 18–20 inch dough, is a strong plus.
- Experience with dough handling and high-volume pizza production is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
