POSITION: School Psychologist
SCHOOL: Head O’Meadow School
START DATE: August 24, 2026
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide full range of school-based psychological
services to students
- Conduct appropriate evaluations for students referred
for special education
- Assist staff in program planning and the development
of appropriate interventions
- Facilitate PPT’s and finalize IEP’s
- Support team with crisis management
SALARY: Placement on the appropriate degree lane and salary step in accordance
with Newtown Federation of Teachers' contract linked here plus 5% of the base salary.
QUALIFICATIONS: Connecticut Certification as a School Psychologist
