Fleet Manager
Gilberts, IL | Full-Time
We're looking for an experienced and driven Fleet Manager to lead operations for a fleet of approximately 50 units and help us scale with confidence. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who understands both driving and operational management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations for approximately 50 units, including scheduling and routing
- Take full responsibility for the fleet and work closely with teams across departments
- Provide and receive equipment for new hires and existing drivers
- Ensure fleet equipment is maintained at maximum efficiency
- Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling and DOT compliance
- Manage fleet inventory — purchase, sell, and lease trucks/trailers as needed
- Support drivers during breakdowns and emergency situations
- Coordinate with vendors, repair shops, and dealerships
- Monitor HOS compliance, driver performance, and safety standards
- Support driver retention through communication, problem-solving, and smooth team operations
- Prepare weekly reports on road services, maintenance shop expenses, and fuel efficiency
- Transport new units to and from dealerships and repair shops as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the trucking industry
- Proven ability to manage a fleet and lead others effectively
- Strong management and problem-solving skills
- Basic technical/mechanical knowledge
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills — able to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Must speak, write, and read English fluently; Ukrainian and Russian are a plus
- Valid CDL Class A required (for conducting road tests with new drivers)

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
