Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features and benefits
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software
- Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing, and reconciliation
- Maintain knowledge of retail lending options and financial services available to customers
- Assist with loan collections and loan processing as needed
- Ensure the retail space is clean, organized, and well-stocked to enhance the shopping experience
- Perform data entry tasks related to sales records, inventory management, and customer information
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Strong understanding of banking or financial services is a plus
- Familiarity with retail store operations including cash handling, cashiering, and retail math
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and balancing cash drawers
- Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
- Knowledge of financial software systems used in retail or banking settings
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with loan collections and loan processing is advantageous but not required
