Overview
We are seeking a caring, patient, and passionate Character Design and 3D Art Instructor dedicated to empowering individuals with special needs through creative arts education.

The classes are held in our classroom at Pomona.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive curricula focused on character design, 3D modeling, and digital art tailored for individuals with special needs.
- Lead engaging, hands-on classes that incorporate visual arts, animation, and digital techniques to foster creativity.
- Adapt lesson plans and instructional strategies to accommodate varying abilities, ensuring all students can participate meaningfully.
- Manage classroom environments effectively, promoting positive behavior management and encouraging collaborative learning experiences.
- Support students’ emotional and developmental growth through personalized feedback and encouragement.
- Collaborate with support staff, caregivers, and other educators to create an inclusive learning community that celebrates each student’s unique talents.
Skills
- Proven experience in curriculum development for arts education, particularly in character design or 3D art.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
- Experience in behavior management strategies tailored for diverse learners within a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication skills for working with students of varying abilities and collaborating with families and team members.
