Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene to ensure children’s comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe children’s behaviors and developmental progress, reporting any concerns to supervising staff promptly.
- Engage actively with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive activities that foster creativity.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols by supervising children closely during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional caregiving support.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar environments is highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in classroom or caregiving roles.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
