Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate various trucks ensuring safe and efficient transportation services. Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent customer service while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Duties
- Safely operate all trucks on designated local routes
- Ensure compliance with all state transportation regulations and traffic laws during every trip
- Assist with loading and unloading building supplies providing courteous and professional customer service
- Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and ensure timely arrivals at destinations
- Perform routine truck inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading equipment
Experience
- Proven experience as a driver
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure efficient navigation
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to non-commercial driving roles
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks associated with truck operation
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
