We are a soft tissue injury group directed by doctors treating patients who have been in auto accidents and work injuries.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong customer service skills to manage a medical office in the Polk County area. Applicants should have the following qualifications:
- Forward-thinking and innovative person with strong customer service skills.
- Multitasker who has a high level of attention to detail and organization skills.
- Must have a clear and professional phone etiquette, conveying information precisely to patients, medical providers, and attorneys.
- Computer literate, Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
- Experience in a medical setting a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the office.
- Training will be for a minimum of 2 weeks.
- Bilingual, Spanish – English is a plus.
Job duties include:
- Managing all clinic employees, keeping them on task. Able to positively motivate others or execute disciplinary counseling as needed.
- Appointment setting, scheduling appointments for patient therapy, M.D. visits, and MRI.
- Directing patient flow through the office
- Medical records, filing daily notes. Keeping up with and transmitting doctors and chiropractors transcription. Releasing transcription to billing in a timely manner.
- Correspondence: Emailing records to attorneys and other medical providers in a timely manner.
- Accurately sending end of night reports and daily billing to our corporate office.
- Patient retention: Sending letters, texts and contacting attorneys to retain patients missing appointments.
- Precisely documenting and transmitting end of week reports.
- Managing 5-7 people in a doctor office setting.
- Greeting patients and making them feel welcomed.
This is a part time position working 3 days a week from 10:00a through 8:00p. Pay is $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
