Role Overview
The Sales Executive is responsible for new business development within Front Row's open deck, heavy haul, and OD freight verticals. You are accountable for building a structured pipeline, converting prospects into shippers, and laying the operational groundwork for a clean handoff to the Account Management team.
Position Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop shipper relationships in open deck, heavy haul, and OD freight
- Build and maintain a structured CRM pipeline with disciplined activity tracking and follow-up
- Provide operations with the necessary details to support accurate quoting and margin management on specialized shipments
- Complete client onboarding documentation to ensure a clean handoff prior to go-live
- Partner with operations on execution quality and surface market intelligence to leadership
- Ensure shipper agreements, credit checks, and onboarding are complete prior to first load
- Represent Front Row Logistics as a specialized freight expert at industry events
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a proven sales winner with a track record of new business development in the non-asset space, specifically open deck, over-dimensional, and heavy haul freight. You bring the credibility, relationships, and hunter mentality needed to win shippers in one of transportation's most specialized segments.
Required
- Strong prospecting instincts and the discipline to maintain consistent outbound activity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — ability to build rapport quickly and consistent follow through
- A competitive, results-driven mindset with the resilience to handle a relationship-based sales cycle
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Proficiency with standard business software and willingness to learn TMS/CRM platforms
Preferred
- Prior sales experience in the open deck space, with a focus on specialized freight
- Familiarity with heavy haul permitting, escort requirements, or OD freight regulations
- A track record of building a book of business from cold outreach, with measurable new revenue results

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
