Position Overview:
The Manager of Post-Secondary Success oversees Give Back’s strategy, programming, and support systems designed to promote college persistence, post-secondary completion, workforce readiness, and long-term student success.
This role leads the development and implementation of student support initiatives, coaching strategies, institutional partnerships, and data-informed interventions that strengthen student retention and graduation outcomes across multiple post-secondary pathways. The Manager works closely with program staff, coaches, colleges, workforce partners, and organizational leadership to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality support throughout their post-secondary journey. Success in this role requires strong leadership, relationship-building, program management, and data analysis skills, along with a deep commitment to supporting students facing significant adversity.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Execution:
· Lead implementation and operational execution of Give Back post-secondary programming across the assigned region.
· Translate organizational priorities into measurable regional goals, operational plans, and performance expectations.
· Ensure regional post-secondary programming aligns with Give Back’s mission, organizational standards, and strategic growth objectives.
· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across regional teams.
· Support organizational expansion efforts through strategic planning, operational leadership, and community engagement.
Program Delivery & Service Coordination
· Serve as the primary point of contact with partner universities and Give Back College Students.
· Support post-secondary success for a designated caseload of students.
· Coordinate with cross-functional staff to ensure students remain on track with program requirements, timelines, and engagement expectations.
· Monitor program implementation to ensure post-secondary students receive consistent coaching, mentoring, academic support, and engagement services.
· Support staff in utilizing workshops, curriculum, Learning Management Systems, and student resources effectively.
· Identify opportunities to strengthen program quality, operational consistency, and student outcomes across the region.
Student Coaching, Mentorship & Case Management:
· Ensure all students are connected to consistent coaching through Give Back and support services at their schools throughout their post-secondary journey.
· Support Coaches and Program Staff in maintaining strong advocate-based relationships with students and caregivers. Assist team in identifying barriers impacting student success at Partner Colleges & Universities and implementing interventions or referrals where needed.
· Support staff in guiding students through FAFSA completion, college applications, postsecondary planning, and career readiness processes.
· Promote coaching practices that strengthen student persistence, engagement, and long-term success outcomes.
Partnership Development & External Relations:
· Build and maintain relationships with colleges, employers, and community partners throughout the region.
· Represent Give Back at community meetings, outreach events, school functions, and partnership engagements.
· Collaborate with partner colleges to strengthen student support, enrollment success, persistence, and retention outcomes.
· Assist in resolving partnership challenges and maintaining strong collaborative relationships across external stakeholders.
· Support regional outreach and partnership development efforts that advance organizational growth and student opportunities.
Data Collection, Systems & Performance Reporting:
· Ensure accurate collection, documentation, and maintenance of student and program data across the region.
· Monitor performance metrics related to student engagement, coaching activity, and program delivery.
· Collaborate with leadership to evaluate coach effectiveness, program performance, and operational needs.
· Utilize data insights and reporting to support decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement efforts.
· Ensure expense reports, travel requests, and operational documentation are maintained accurately and within organizational guidelines.
Financial Stewardship & Resource Development:
· Monitor expenses, travel activity, and operational spending to ensure compliance with budget expectations and organizational policies.
· Maintain records and tracking for parter university gifts/available student seats.
· Support responsible stewardship of organizational resources through operational oversight and financial accountability.
Administrative & Operational Support:
· Maintain operational records, contact databases, and communication systems.
· Provide administrative support related to meetings, scheduling, travel coordination, reporting, and event logistics.
· Support planning, preparation, and execution of student events, trainings, workshops, and organizational initiatives.
· Ensure operational processes, documentation, and reporting activities are completed accurately and on time.
· Maintain confidentiality and adherence to FERPA and organizational policies.
· Provide additional operational and administrative support as needed to ensure successful program delivery throughout the region.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in higher education, education, social work, nonprofit management, counseling, communications, public administration, or related field preferred.
· An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience in post-secondary support, student success, nonprofit leadership, youth development, education, workforce development, or program management may be considered in lieu of formal degree requirements.
· Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in student engagement, post-secondary support, program coordination, or community-based services preferred.
· Experience working with colleges, universities, workforce development initiatives, or student support programs strongly preferred.
· Experience supervising staff, coaches, or cross-functional teams preferred.
Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM/data management systems preferred.
· Ability to manage student tracking systems, operational reporting, and performance monitoring tools effectively.
· Experience utilizing data systems to track student persistence, engagement, and completion of outcomes preferred.
Compliance & Requirements
· Ability to work evenings or weekends for meetings, training, student events, or partnership activities as needed.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA and organizational policies.
· Ability to travel as needed for institutional partnerships, training, and organizational initiatives.
· Ability to pass all required background and child safety checks.
Compensation and Benefits:
· This is a full-time, salary (exempt) position with a salary of $65,000 – 75,000 per year based on comparable experience.
