We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented AP/AR General Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process and post vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure invoices are properly coded to the appropriate General Ledger accounts.
- Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end accounting activities as needed.
Accounts Receivable
- Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate account records.
- Perform customer collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Research and resolve customer deductions, discrepancies, and payment issues.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate variances.
- Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments regarding account issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and/or Accounts Receivable.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- SAP accounting software experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze and manage large amounts of financial data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive, professional attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
