Outside Sales Representative
As a Schaeffer sales representative, you’ll work in your local area calling on shops, fleets, and operations that rely on equipment every day. You’ll provide lubricants, greases, and fuel additives that help customers reduce wear, prevent breakdowns, and keep equipment running longer.
Success in this role comes from building relationships and earning trust. You’ll work directly with owners, fleet managers, and mechanics, helping them solve equipment and maintenance challenges. Most of your business will come from showing up consistently, understanding your products, and following through with customers.
Typical customers include trucking and transportation fleets, construction and excavation companies, municipal and transit fleets, bus garages, landscaping companies, industrial operations, warehouses, and golf courses.

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent sales position with uncapped commission. Income is based on the business you build, with monthly and year-end bonus opportunities available.
Training & Support
New reps receive online training, live virtual sessions, and in-field training with experienced reps. Ongoing technical and sales support is available to help you succeed and continue developing your skills.
