Job Description – IT Support Tech Assistant
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, IT Support Tech Assistant to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga. This is an entry-to-mid-level role, ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to provide hands-on support to our IT department and end-users. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Systems Administration: Provide Tier 1 support to end-users (in-person, phone, and email); manage user accounts in Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 (password resets, permissions, licenses, and synchronization); maintain and update Windows 10/11 systems, antivirus, and security tools.
- Hardware, Networking & Inventory: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, and peripherals; assist with basic network setup (routers, switches, Wi-Fi); maintain accurate inventory of equipment, licenses, and supplies; and lift/transport equipment up to 30 lb as needed for installations or office moves.
- Application Support & Platforms: Troubleshoot QuickBooks issues (configuration, connectivity, backups, and updates); provide Microsoft 365 support (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive); and perform basic HTML edits for internal pages or email templates.
- Documentation, Security & General Support: Document issues and solutions in the knowledge base; follow security policies; assist with data backups and recovery procedures; and provide general administrative and technical support to the IT team as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related field (internships and academic projects count).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) – spoken and written.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks (installation, configuration, network/printing troubleshooting, and backups).
- Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint), and antivirus tools.
- Experience in Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) – user/group management, authentication, and synchronization.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware (assembly, upgrades, preventive maintenance) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for potential local travel.
- Physical ability to safely lift and move equipment up to 30 lb (13.6 kg).
- Proactive attitude, service-oriented mindset, ability to document processes, and strong teamwork skills.
Pay: $26 to $28 /hour, depending on skills and experience.
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
