DW Bodyworks is aiming to hire 3-5 massage therapists for our Sandy, Utah location, ideally over the next 6 weeks. This is an opportunity to be a member practitioner of a group massage therapy practice focused on medical and clinical modalities.
In accordance with the Utah Massage Therapy Act statute 58-47b-304 1c, nurses in Utah with an active license are exempt from needing additional licensure, like a direct LMT license, to practice massage therapy.

- (1) In addition to the exemptions from licensure in Section 58-1-307, the following individuals may perform massage services, subject to the stated circumstances and limitations, without being a licensed individual: a nurse licensed under Chapter 31b, Nurse Practice Act, or under Chapter 44a, Nurse Midwife Practice Act…

Those with a background in pain and injury clinics, post-surgical care, or physical therapy are encouraged to apply. And those who don’t have that background but would very much like a change of pace are still encouraged to apply. Training in clinical, pain, injury massage modalities will be provided.
