The Executive Housekeeper at the Hampton Inn Austin/Airport Area South is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and compliance with Hilton brand standards. This position leads, trains, and develops the housekeeping team while maintaining labor efficiency, inventory control, safety standards, and departmental budgets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and supervise all housekeeping and laundry team members.

Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff.

Ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Hilton brand standards.

Conduct daily room inspections and quality assurance audits.

Develop work schedules based on occupancy forecasts and labor budgets.

Monitor payroll and control labor costs.

Maintain linen, terry, guest room supplies, and chemical inventories.

Coordinate preventive maintenance needs with the Engineering department.

Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and hotel policies.

Maintain housekeeping equipment in proper working condition.

Work closely with the Front Office to prioritize room availability.

Prepare departmental reports and communicate operational updates to hotel leadership.

Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Minimum 3 years of housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment.

Previous Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper experience preferred.

Strong leadership and team development skills.

Ability to manage labor budgets and departmental expenses.

Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and Hilton standards preferred.

Experience with housekeeping management systems (Quore experience is a plus).

Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Experience improving Guest Satisfaction (SALT/Medallia or similar metrics).

Strong room inspection skills.
