Umi Sushi is excited to announce the opening of our second location in Downtown Frederick, opening July 15th!
Our original location in Old Ellicott City has become a well-known local favorite, recognized for its fresh sushi, outstanding service, and welcoming atmosphere.
We are currently hiring part-time or full-time bartenders to help us bring the same exceptional experience to our newest restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, menu, & customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensure all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Interact with customers in a friendly & professional manner, provide recommendations and answer questions.
- Process transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems, including Aloha POS, handling cash, credit cards, and tips.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending/barback experience is preferred
- 18 years old or above, must be available most weekends
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork in a diverse multi-cultural workspace where other staff may not speak English as their first language
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
