Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalised care and support to clients within their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
- Support patients with medication administration and health monitoring in accordance with care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
- Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate behaviour management techniques
- Drive clients to appointments, social outings, or errands safely and responsibly
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Respond promptly to emergencies by administering first aid when necessary and following safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist clients with mobility challenges
- Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to manage behavioural challenges with patience and professionalism
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
- A genuine passion for caregiving and improving the quality of life for others

Salary Range:
- $15.00 per hour for caregivers who hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- $16.00–$17.00 per hour for caregivers with at least two years of caregiving experience.
- $18.00–$19.00 per hour for caregivers who are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
