Provides administrative support to human resources functions such as onboarding new hires, forms processing, correspondence, record keeping, data entry, file maintenance, and Excel data entry. Functions as a resource for the company. Ensures HR programs are administered under federal and state regulations, and program and policy provisions are followed. Performs other HR administrative duties as assigned.
POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in human resources/organizational leadership or business-related field
- Minimum of one (2) year of office experience required
- A minimum of one (2) year of previous HR experience is preferred
- Prior HR experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
- Must be able to multitask, and work with minimal supervision
- Must be bilingual; English/Spanish; read, speak, and write fluently
JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Requires reasoning ability, good independent judgment, and a high degree of competency.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Able to respond to general internal and external customer needs.
- Requires good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work with frequent interruptions.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills are a must.
- Must have strong computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS, payroll, and time and attendance systems.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat for creating, editing, managing PDF documents, and creating digital signatures.
- Strong attention to detail, including proficiency in punctuation, spelling, and grammar, is required.
