We are a premier substance abuse outpatient facility in New Jersey committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with mental health disorders and co-occurring addiction disorders. Our compassionate team empowers clients to achieve recovery and build a fulfilling life. We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinician to join our team and provide expert therapeutic services in a collaborative and supportive environment. Experience working in high-equity mental health treatment is desired.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Licensed Clinician, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals entering treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide individual and group sessions using evidence-based approaches.
- Address mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders through therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with medical staff, and other counselors to ensure integrated care.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all services in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist clients in identifying mental health symptom triggers, relapse triggers, and developing effective coping mechanisms.
- Participate in case conferences, clinical supervision, and team meetings.
- Stay informed about advancements in addiction treatment and mental health care through training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted New Jersey license as an LSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC. LCADC a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of post-graduate school experience working with mental health disorders, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. Mental health disorder treatment experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed, accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
