Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions to effectively upsell products.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and payment transactions.
- Ensure cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist in catering events by preparing drinks for large groups and ensuring timely service.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all customers are attended to promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques or beverage preparation is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
