Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Construction Manager to lead and oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive project success by managing teams, overseeing schedules, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and quality workmanship.
- Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; monitor progress regularly to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Review construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee cost management activities including estimating, budgeting, and tracking project expenses using HeavyBid or similar estimating tools.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards; conduct regular site inspections.
- Utilize tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, progress tracking, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and change orders.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
- Manage project documentation including schedules, reports, permits, contracts, and regulatory compliance records.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes safety, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex residential or commercial construction projects with a strong focus on infrastructure development.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Bluebeam Revu, ProCore or equivalent platforms.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating techniques using HeavyBid or similar tools; capable of managing budgets effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling principles including project scheduling and schedule coordination.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans review.
- Familiarity with civil 3D software for site design or infrastructure planning is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills in managing teams on-site; excellent communication skills for project coordination among diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction regulations including safety standards and building codes; ability to ensure regulatory compliance across projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Construction site experience in residential or commercial environments is essential; familiarity with managing budgets and contracts is preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
