Job Title: Admissions Specialist
FLSA Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt- Uncapped Commission
Reports To: Business Development Manager
Position Summary:
This is a sales-focused position with an uncapped commission opportunity.
The Admissions Specialist (AS) is responsible for community outreach and offering our services to new clients. The AS is responsible for answering the phones, data entry, and
other clerical duties as directed by the Business Development Manager.

Satisfactory references, criminal background check, drug screen and alcohol test, and clear TB test

Experience working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or with veterans is highly recommended but not required.
Candidates with experience navigating VA services, working with veteran populations, or developing relationships with VA facilities and veteran-focused organizations are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
I) Phone Management

Demonstrates professional phone manners at all times

Answers phone calls directed to their phone, must respond within 24 hours of any missed calls

Communicate with Doctor’s offices and other agencies
II) Data Entry
-
Respond to emails
-
Track customer relations management in Microsoft Teams
III) Clerical Support
-
Enroll clients from start to finish
-
Participate in reassessments when necessary

Build relationships. Community outreach.

Generate income for the company

Explain and sell Access Care services
-
Advertising for Access Care
-
Social media management and tracking
VI) Compliance
-
Abides by the standards identified in Access ADHC’s Compliance Plan and
HIPAA Plan

Language and Communications Skills:
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to secure cooperation, interpret
policies, exchange information, and provide professional judgments in continuous
contact with management personnel, colleague managers and other employees;
contacts with medical staffs, and representatives of outside agencies or groups,
clients, families, vendors and public. Works with a range of adult clients of
various ages with multiple types of health care needs. Ability to listen attentively
and speak clearly and distinctly in receiving and responding to inquires.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Training and certification in CPR within the first three (3) months of employment
and recertification as required. Annually each employee must have a PPD test or
be determined to be free of symptoms of tuberculosis if there was a previous
positive PPD.
