Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Lead daily classroom activities focused on infant development, including sensory play, motor skills, and social interaction
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all infants by maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers to promote best practices in childcare and classroom management
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Coordinate with specialists or therapists when working with infants who have special needs or disabilities
- Maintain accurate records of developmental progress, attendance, and incident reports
Experience
- Proven experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings
- Demonstrated classroom experience managing groups of young children with diverse needs
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, especially related to infants and toddlers
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly valued
- Experience with behavior management strategies tailored for infants and young children
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience as a lead teacher or team coordinator is preferred
- Familiarity with caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting that involve infant care is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
