- Safley sets up, operates, and monitors bag machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
- Completes bag machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
- Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
- Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
- Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
- Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.

- Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
- Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.
