Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers and assistant teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development in infants
- Provide attentive child education and care, including feeding, diapering, educating and comforting as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery
- Monitor each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about developmental milestones and daily updates
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans
- Support positive behavior management strategies to foster a calm and respectful classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that support early childhood education standards
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants-preschoolers in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar caregiving roles
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers and preschoolers
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle multiple children simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to demonstrate patience, compassion, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and young children
