Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and overhaul automobiles, buses, and other motor vehicles
- Use hand tools (wrenches, gauges, precision instruments) and power tools (pneumatic tools, welding equipment, hoists) safely and effectively
- Inspect and repair air and hydraulic brake systems, steering components, wheel bearings, and other critical systems
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication
- Conduct test drives to diagnose issues and verify proper operation
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipment using diagnostic tools such as handheld computers and motor analyzers
- Ensure all parts meet manufacturer specifications by checking dimensions and clearances
- Repair and maintain engine components, including fuel injection systems
- Diagnose and repair automotive and bus air conditioning systems
- Repair gas and diesel engines
Education and/or Experience:
Auto School Certification, and Motorcoach Certified Preferred
CDL license preferred but not required
At least 3 years of Diesel Technician experience
Salary based on experience
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 based on experience
