As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Mall in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while assisting visitors, employees, and tenants throughout the property.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.

Communicate with local site contacts, mall management, and/or emergency personnel as needed while providing visible presence and support for day-to-day security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
