Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Rental Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients looking to rent lighting and grip equipment or purchase expendables. You will manage orders from inquiry through fulfillment, working directly within our rental inventory system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in the film industry who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and process rental and sales orders accurately within our rental inventory management system.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing knowledgeable and professional customer service throughout the rental process.
- Coordinate closely with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure orders are prepared, accurate, and ready on time.
- Assist clients in identifying the right equipment for their production needs.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, returns, and client communications.
- Support day-to-day operations of the rental office as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in the film, television, or entertainment industry in any capacity.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with rental management software or similar order/inventory systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred
- Familiarity with lighting and grip equipment.
- Prior experience at a camera, lighting, or grip rental house.
- Knowledge of production workflows at studio facilities.
