Primary Duties

Trims trees; removes cuttings.

Maintains landscape beds around clubhouse and club grounds.

Rakes and blows leaves.

Prepares and lays sod.

Rakes bunkers.

Loads and unloads materials.

Repairs and maintains driving range tees.

Cleans equipment used in practice area.

Operates walk-behind equipment.
-
Aerifies and spikes greens.
-
Helps with drainage projects.
-
Empties garbage cans.
-
Participates in departmental and club training meetings.

Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Golf Course Maintenance Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.

Six months of experience in golf course grounds maintenance or greens keeping preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of golf course operations and irrigation systems preferred but not required.

There is a potential for stressful situations and for long hours.

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.

Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
