Assistant General Manager | Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a senior restaurant leadership role (General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or similar)-
Proven success leading restaurants generating $5M+ in annual sales; $8M+ preferred

Strong financial management, including budgeting, P&L, labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs

Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performance teams

Deep understanding of upscale dining, beverage programs, and guest relations

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with restaurant technology platforms and operational reporting systems

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Assistant General Manager | Preferred Background & Skills

Experience opening new restaurants, leading turnarounds, or scaling high-growth concepts

Strong background in fine dining, polished casual, or lifestyle-focused hospitality

History of developing future leaders and building strong leadership pipelines
Assistant General Manager | Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse front- and back-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Oversee financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and P&L management

Implement and uphold brand standards, operational procedures, and service excellence throughout the restaurant

Maintain a hands-on presence on the floor, engaging team members and guests alike

Drive continuous improvement across operations, guest satisfaction, and profitability

Ensure compliance with health codes, liquor laws, and corporate policies
