Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling duties including cooking, assembling orders, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients
- Support team members with various tasks such as stocking supplies, managing queues, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service or quick service & fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable; retail or grocery store background is a plus
