Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards
Install wiring, outlets, panels, breakers, lighting, and electrical equipment
Work independently or supervise apprentices when needed
Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician
Valid Journeyman Electrician license (if required by state/local jurisdiction)
Minimum 3–5 years of electrical experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
