Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, delivering products to various locations, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles safely across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques
- Deliver goods to customers and clients in a timely manner, adhering to scheduled routes
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and properly documented
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Follow route schedules efficiently to optimize delivery times
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience
- Strong knowledge of driving safety, including handling box trucks and manual transmission vehicles
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and licensing requirements (PERSON driver license preferred)
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
