Job Summary
Swetnam Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a licensed Clinical Aesthetician / Patient Concierge to join our growing regenerative aesthetics and wellness team. This is a dual-role position that combines hands-on clinical aesthetic treatments with front office patient concierge responsibilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, creates exceptional patient experiences and results-driven treatment plans within a clinical aesthetic setting rather than a traditional day spa environment.
We are looking for a motivated team player who enjoys variety in their workday and is excited to contribute in both the treatment room and at the front desk. This role requires someone who is adaptable, professional, highly organized, social media-minded, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care from the moment a patient walks through our doors until they complete their visit.
Responsibilities include performing aesthetic treatments, supporting providers with clinical workflow, assisting with patient concierge duties, helping grow the practice's digital presence through social media, and ensuring every patient receives a welcoming, seamless, and elevated experience.
Clinical Aesthetician Responsibilities
- Perform professional aesthetic treatments including facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplane treatments, laser treatments, and other clinical skincare services within scope of licensure.
- Educate patients on skincare products, treatment plans, and post-treatment care.
- Assist with patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Support Nurse Practitioners and providers with treatment room setup, organization, and clinical workflow as needed.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and patient records.
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment remain clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards.
- Recommend medical-grade skincare products and educate patients on home care regimens.
- Participate in social media content creation including treatment videos, educational content, before-and-after photography, and practice marketing initiatives.
- Stay current on regenerative aesthetics, wellness services, and advanced aesthetic technologies.
- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional first impression.
- Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions, scheduling, and general inquiries.
- Room patients and prepare them for their appointments.
- Enter treatment charges and assist with checkout processes.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Verify and update patient demographics and medical information.
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure an efficient clinic schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
Qualifications
- Active Arkansas Aesthetician License required.
- Previous experience in medical aesthetics, med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic surgery preferred.
- Previous front desk or patient concierge experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and patient relationship skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented medical practice.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Interest in regenerative aesthetics, wellness, and advanced skincare treatments.
- Must be comfortable appearing in and contributing to social media content.
- Willingness to work in both clinical and front office roles as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products.
- Experience with laser platforms, microneedling, and advanced facial treatments.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Experience scheduling patients and coordinating provider calendars.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Social media familiarity including Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video content.
- Ability to build long-term patient relationships and treatment plans.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow alongside the practice.
