This position will primarily support our Hilton Head and Charleston locations, traveling throughout South Carolina and parts of Georgia.

What You'll Do
- Safely transport furniture, cushions, and upholstery projects to and from customers.
- Load and unload furniture, often independently, with assistance available for larger or heavier pieces.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing Palmetto Upholstery professionally.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and well maintained.
- Assist in the upholstery shop between deliveries, including:
- Stuffing cushions
- Stripping furniture before upholstery
- Moving furniture throughout the shop
- Cleaning and organizing the workroom
- Emptying trash and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Performing other duties that help keep our team running smoothly.
Schedule
This position averages approximately 32 hours per week. It is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time hours rather than a traditional 40-hour workweek.
Our delivery routes vary from week to week, so flexibility is important. Some days may require an earlier start, while others may begin later depending on customer deliveries and route planning.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely lift and move furniture on a regular basis.
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Willing to help wherever needed—not just behind the wheel.
- Experience driving a box truck or making furniture deliveries is a plus but not required.
Pay & Growth
- Starting pay is $20.00 per hour.
- Performance review after the 90-day probationary period with the opportunity for a wage increase based on performance.
