We’re partnering with a growing industrial services organization that provides gearbox repair, rotating equipment services, field maintenance, and industrial support solutions for heavy industrial customers.
The company is hiring a Superintendent to lead field service and millwright operations supporting customer sites throughout the Birmingham area.
This position will oversee field crews, coordinate maintenance and outage work, support emergency repair situations, and help ensure high levels of customer service and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage field service and industrial maintenance crews
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and planned outage work
- Support customers at industrial facilities throughout the Birmingham market
- Respond to emergency repair situations as needed
- Lead scheduling, manpower coordination, and field execution activities
- Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards are maintained
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers in the field
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing millwright or industrial field service teams
- Background in industrial maintenance, rotating equipment, or mechanical services
- Strong leadership and customer communication skills
- Experience supporting heavy industrial customers preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and field priorities simultaneously
- No overnight travel required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation is highly negotiable based on experience
- Typical compensation up to $150,000, with flexibility for the right candidate
