# IT Systems Specialist — POS, AV & Security Systems
We're looking for a hands-on IT generalist who thrives across multiple restaurant locations. This role is built around three core areas: **Toast POS administration, Audio/Video systems, and Security Camera management** — with broader IT and networking support rounding out the position.
## Must-Haves
- Reliable transportation — This will require office time, local travel in Las Vegas (4) Locations in Las Vegas, (1) Salt Lake City, UT, (1) Nashville Tn. and (1)coming soon Miami Fl.
- Previous restaurant IT experience required
- Hands-on experience supporting **AV systems** (TVs, sound systems, menu boards) in a multi-location or hospitality environment
- Experience with **security camera systems** — installation, troubleshooting, footage access, and user permissions
- **Toast POS** administration experience strongly preferred
- Ability to travel to out-of-state locations as needed
## Core Responsibilities
### Toast POS Administration
- Own day-to-day POS configuration and integrated applications across all locations, including new location setup, user management, menu rollouts, and promotions
- Resolve POS issues directly with vendors and internal teams
- Lead POS data reporting — sales, sales mix, and promotion results
- Manage equipment sourcing, costing, inventory, and installation support with vendors
- Build and maintain technical documentation for Operations and other stakeholders
- Maintain system controls, user permissions, and a secure access management program
- Support menu development within Toast, recipe specs within R365, and delivery partner integrations (Otter, Grubhub, Uber Eats, DoorDash)
### Audio/Video Systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot in-store AV systems — dining room sound, TVs/menu boards, and music systems
- Serve as the go-to resource for AV issues across all locations, coordinating with vendors on repairs and upgrades
- Support AV needs for new location openings and remodels
- Maintain documentation on AV equipment, configurations, and vendor contacts per location
### Security Camera Systems
- Manage camera systems across all locations — installation coordination, troubleshooting offline units, and ongoing maintenance
- Administer user access and footage retention/retrieval requests
- Partner with Operations and Finance on camera-related investigations (cash variance, incident review)
- Maintain an accurate inventory of camera hardware and coverage by location
### Broader IT & Network Support
- Maintain internal systems and network uptime; perform patching, upgrades, and security configurations
- Configure and install network devices, including wireless networks
- Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (licensing, GPO, user management)
- Provide 1st-line IT support via ticket, phone, Teams, Slack, and email within SLA
- Log and manage all requests through the JIRA helpdesk
- Perform user administration for workforce management and table management systems
- Identify process improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency
## Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High energy, hands-on, and adaptable across varied daily priorities
- Working knowledge of IP networking — LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPN, firewalls (supporting skill, not the primary focus of the role)
- Experience with Paycom, ChefX, or similar hospitality/back-office tools a plus
- Strong troubleshooting instincts — comfortable being the first and last line of defense on-site
- Clear communicator who can document issues and resolutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills across multiple open issues and locations
