The Warehouse Associate must possess an understanding of packing and shipping practices. Must display a concern for quality and customer satisfaction by ensuring the product is packed for safe transit, is ready when the carrier arrives, and is shipped correctly to the customer. Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP system and advanced proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications preferred. The main function of this role will be picking orders for productions.
- Inspect inbound packages
- Check-in shipments
- Pull, Pack, and Ship customer orders through FedEx/UPS
- Load trucks using a forklift and/or manual pallet jack
- Prepare BOL's for shipments
- Report tracking information to customers using an online system
- Stock shelves with parts
- Fulfill parts orders to be sent to the production floor
- Conduct regular cycle counting and physical inventory tasks
- Drive company vehicle to pick up purchases and deliver orders to customers as needed
- Data entry in the ERP system
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Have forklift experience
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Experience with inventory control is a plus
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, to operate a motor vehicle and forklift; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. The job involves walking and standing for extended periods. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve. This position requires the employee to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work. Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.
